Celebrate and support a midwife

The Support a Midwife Advocacy Project aims to address the undervaluation of midwives and promote their crucial role in providing essential care for women, newborns, and adolescents. Despite their ability to deliver 90% of essential healthcare services, midwives face challenges rooted in sexism and gender norms. This project seeks to recognize, reward, and celebrate the significance and skills of midwives as front-line health workers. By raising awareness and advocating for their vital role, the project contributes to reducing maternal mortality and improving overall maternal and newborn health outcomes.
