DO Take Action, a non-profit startup dedicated to mobilizing individuals for sustainable development is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network Kaduna Hub. This collaboration aims to empower young leaders to drive positive change in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
The partnership aims to leverage the DO model for action to engage 300 YALI Network members as Grassroots Development Champions (GDCs). These champions will be equipped with the necessary tools and resources to execute impactful community projects, driving sustainable development across Nigeria.
We are excited to join forces with YALI Network Kaduna State Hub to empower young leaders to take action for sustainable development. By providing YALI members with the opportunity to register as GDCs and execute community projects, we are fostering a culture of active citizenship and social responsibility.
“Our partnership with YALI Network Kaduna Hub signifies a significant step towards building a critical mass of individuals committed to creating a better future for Africa,” said Austin Maxwell, Program Lead at DO Take Action. “By empowering YALI members to take action and make a difference in their communities, we are collectively contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and DO’s goal to build a critical mass of One billion plus people.”
Under the terms of this partnership, DO Take Action will provide YALI members with guidance, tool kits, and support to execute community projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, members who successfully complete their projects will receive rewards and certificates of action.
The partnership highlights a commitment to collaboration, social impact, and sustainable development. By working together, the organizations aim to create lasting change and inspire future generations of leaders.
