The Gender Equity/GBV Evidence Accelerator Fellowship, offered by the Center for Global Women’s Health and Gender Equity (CGWHE) at Johns Hopkins University, might be the perfect opportunity for you!
What is the Fellowship? This year-long program provides sponsored mentorship and select coursework to practitioners, professionals, and scholars engaged in gender equity work, with a focus on GBV. Fellows will enhance their skills in evidence generation, synthesis, and translation for gender equity and GBV. Through a part-time commitment, fellows will complete select coursework from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and receive ongoing mentorship from CGWHE faculty. The fellowship includes virtual activities and 1-2 in-person cohort gatherings for networking and professional development.
Ideal Candidates: Ideal candidates include professionals working in gender equity and/or GBV, such as program evaluators, community researchers, practitioners, and PhD students outside the US. Applicants should have some experience in this area and a desire to enhance their skills in evidence-based research, programs, and policy to accelerate the impact of their work.
Program Details:
- Fellowship covers travel costs, course registration, and faculty mentoring
- Estimated time commitment: 10 hours weekly on average, up to 20 hours/week during course weeks, plus travel for convenings
- No compensation offered for participant’s time
