Mother Delivery Kit
The Mother’s Delivery Kit Project aims to address the issue of maternal sepsis by distributing sterile birthing kits in underprivileged communities. Maternal sepsis, caused by bacterial infection during childbirth, contributes to high maternal and newborn mortality rates. The project promotes hygienic delivery practices by providing cost-effective delivery kits that can be used by both trained and untrained birth attendants. Each kit contains essential items such as cotton cloth, soap, gloves, cotton wool, gauze, cord ligature, and polythene sheet, enabling safer deliveries and reducing the risk of sepsis-related complications. This project plays a crucial role in improving maternal and newborn health outcomes.
