In recent years, elections across the continent have recorded a consistent decline in the numbers of voters who show up during election days to vote. When franchise rights are exercised by very few proportions in the country, it implies that whoever emerges as the leader does not really represent the mind of the majority. To address this issue, this project is designed to mobilize citizens to show up and vote.

In recent years, it has been observed from the data published by INEC that the proportion of Nigerians with no PVCs is so massive compared to those with their PVCs, this makes the democratic fate of the country to be dependent on a very minute proportion of the population. On this note, this project is designed to provide the necessary resources and guidelines to individuals or groups in the grassroots communities on practical measures to resolve issues around low voter registration in Nigeria.

The Get Your PVC project is intended to mobilize Nigerians at the grassroots communities on the benefit of acquiring their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), and the step by step processes for acquiring their PVC from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
