The Improve Her Productivity project is a skill development initiative targeting girls and women in semi-rural and urban areas of Africa. Recognizing the challenges faced by women in the informal economy, the project provides training in both soft and hard skills to enhance their productivity and economic condition. By equipping them with relevant skills, such as financial management, entrepreneurship, and vocational expertise, the project aims to empower women to overcome barriers and improve their earning potential. Through this initiative, we strive to promote economic empowerment, gender equality, and improved living standards for girls and women in Africa.

Ability Project

Ability Project

Too often across Africa, persons with disabilities are disproportionately likely to live in poverty and not have equal access to education, health care, employment opportunities, housing, social protection systems, justice, cultural expression and participation in political life. A common misconception is that persons with disabilities are not productive members of the workforce, which may lead employers to discriminate against applicants with disabilities, even if they are highly qualified to perform the work.

Ability is a sensitization project targeted at changing the negative narrative around disability by encouraging people to recognize disabled people, not for their disability but their ability and the value they can contribute to society.

She Is A Leader

The She is a Leader project aims to support and encourage the active participation of young women in grassroots politics in Africa. Recognizing the high barriers women face in becoming leaders, including social, cultural, and gender-related obstacles, this project seeks to address these challenges. By providing targeted leadership development training for young women during their secondary and university years and older women working in the informal, public and private sectors, we aim to empower them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to engage in politics and advocate for gender equality. Through this project, we strive to create a more inclusive and equitable society where women have equal opportunities to become leaders and shape their communities.
