Improve Her Productivity Project
Improve Her Productivity Project
In Africa, women are disproportionately employed in the informal economy in small-scale food processing, subsistence farming and petty food trading, suffering poor working conditions and living standards as a result. Women’s lack of power will in these sectors – because they are functioning primarily in gendered roles, and still grappling with barriers like unfair land laws and poor access in the food supply chain – puts them at a considerable disadvantage.
Improve Her Productivity is a skill development project for girls and women in Semi-rural and Urban Nigeria. Girls and women are trained in soft and hard skills that can improve their earnings and economic condition.

Revolving Microenterprises Loan for Women
Revolving Microenterprises Loan for Women
Women’s access to finance is disproportionately low worldwide. Credit rationing through high-interest rates disproportionately discourages women entrepreneurs from applying for loans, while lack of collateral can mean they have less access to loans than their male counterparts (Morsy and Youssef 2017). And when they do have access, women typically face more stringent loan arrangements than men.
Join us through this project to increase the accessibility and affordability of loans for women in rural areas to do business.

Ability Project
Ability Project
Too often across Africa, persons with disabilities are disproportionately likely to live in poverty and not have equal access to education, health care, employment opportunities, housing, social protection systems, justice, cultural expression and participation in political life. A common misconception is that persons with disabilities are not productive members of the workforce, which may lead employers to discriminate against applicants with disabilities, even if they are highly qualified to perform the work.
Ability is a sensitization project targeted at changing the negative narrative around disability by encouraging people to recognize disabled people, not for their disability but their ability and the value they can contribute to society.

She Is A Leader
She Is A Leader Project
Women in Africa face particularly high barriers to becoming leaders. Some of these barriers include social and cultural barriers, traditional gender roles, the low status of women in many societies, and limited access to educational and employment opportunities. Painfully, only a small minority of available leadership development programs on the continent target youth during their secondary school and university years, and few of these leadership development programs are tailored towards women or address the issues of gender.
Join us to support and encourage the active participation of young women in grassroots politics through this project.

She STEM
She STEM Project
The sustainable development of a country can be directly linked to STEM contributing significantly to the economic, social and environmental development of that country. With women constituting almost half of Nigeria’s population and over 50% of the global population, there is a wide gender disparity in access to quality education and career opportunities, especially for girls who want to pursue studies in STEM. The participation of women and girls in science, technology engineering, and math will play a large role in sustainable development in Nigeria.
Join us on this project to encourage, support and empower young girls and women to take up career opportunities and positions in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields.

Care for a Senior
Care for a Senior
Despite their acknowledged social and economic contributions, as well as their role in traditional and cultural affairs, many older adults in Africa experience abuse and are largely excluded in socio-economic and political affairs. The processes of modernization and urbanization are beginning to erode the traditional social welfare system of Africa, the extended family. The abuse and violence against older persons and their vulnerability to financial exploitation are key challenges many African countries face.
Care for a Senior Project is a one-day sensitization workshop and welfare outreach on how to take care of elderly people with care, love and patience.
