Got Questions? Get Help

The Got Questions? Get Help project aims to address the challenges faced by Nigerian adolescents regarding sexual and reproductive health (SRH). A study conducted in 2017 highlighted the prevalence of unprotected sex among adolescents, leading to unintended pregnancies, unsafe abortions, and child marriages. This project focuses on providing support and access to SRH information for teenagers and adolescents. By offering knowledge and guidance, the project empowers young individuals to make informed decisions, protect their reproductive health, and prevent adverse outcomes, ultimately promoting their overall well-being.

The Menstrual Health Project

Advocate for the fixing of a health center

The Menstrual Health Project aims to address the challenges faced by poor girls and women in rural Nigeria who struggle to afford and manage their menstrual cycles. Due to the high cost of sanitary pads, many resort to unhygienic practices, putting their health at risk. Through sensitization workshops conducted in rural and semi-rural communities, the project educates adolescent girls on menstrual health and teaches them how to create reusable sanitary pads. By promoting knowledge and sustainable solutions, the project seeks to improve menstrual hygiene and empower girls in underserved communities.

How you can take action

Organize a sensitization workshop to teach adolescent girls how to take care of their menstrual health, make reusable sanitary pads in rural and semi-rural communities, and provide them with reusable menstrual pads for 6months.
