With women constituting a significant portion of Africa’s population and the global population, addressing the gender disparity in access to quality education and STEM career opportunities is crucial for sustainable development. By providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities, She STEM aims to inspire and empower girls and women to excel in STEM, contributing to the economic, social, and environmental development of Africa. Together, let’s create a more inclusive and diverse STEM community.
How you can take action
Organize a sensitization project in your community to motivate and empower young girls and women of Grassroot Development Communities to take up career opportunities and positions in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields.
Lend your creativity to create relevant multi-media content, technology innovation or solutions that raise awareness or address this issue.
