About the Fellows Program
Refugees International’s Refugee Fellows Program enriches and supports the advocacy efforts of refugee leaders around the world. This year-long fellowship equips fellows with the necessary tools and resources to amplify the perspectives of refugees and displaced individuals and drive meaningful change in their communities.
Fellows are formally affiliated with Refugees International and collaborate closely with our staff on various advocacy initiatives, including reports, opinion pieces, events, research trips, and direct engagement with policy makers. Additionally, fellows participate in peer-to-peer learning and formal and informal training sessions with advocacy and communications professionals.
Refugees International is now accepting applications for the second cohort of its Refugee Fellows Program, set to start in July 2024. We invite individuals with personal experiences of forced displacement and a commitment to advocating for displaced people’s rights and safety to apply, especially emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds.
