Are you passionate about shaping the future of global development and advocating for the rights of young people around the world? To mark the 30th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD). UNFPA invites you to apply to attend the ICPD30 Global Youth Dialogue this year on 4–5 April in Cotonou, Benin.
Criteria for participation:
- You must be between the ages of 14 and 35.
- You need to have demonstrated involvement in community or civic initiatives related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender-based violence, migration, youth peace and security, climate action, economic empowerment and innovation, among other areas.
- You should represent a legitimate youth organization operating at local, national, regional or global levels.
- Your organization should have the capacity and interest to steer or support the implementation of the ICPD.
- We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including different cultures, ethnicities, socio-economic statuses, and educational levels.
- You should possess proficiency in one of the official languages of the event (English, French, Spanish and International Sign Language).
