Antenatal Accountability

The Antenatal Accountability Project addresses the low utilization of antenatal care in rural communities by promoting regular attendance and adherence to guidelines for pregnant women. With the goal of reducing maternal mortality and improving mother and child health, the project emphasizes the importance of attending antenatal care visits and following recommended practices such as rest, avoiding heavy lifting, medication adherence, vaccinations, healthy eating, safe sex, and abstaining from alcohol and smoking. Through regular check-up calls and accountability measures, the project ensures that pregnant women receive the necessary care and support for a healthy pregnancy journey.
