About the Call

The Chevening Alumni Association Nigeria, in partnership with DO Take Action, is implementing the Scaling Women’s Economic Empowerment through Affirmative Procurement Reform (SWEEAP) Project, with support from the Chevening Alumni Programme Fund of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

This project equips 600 women entrepreneurs from Kano and Rivers States with practical skills in procurement processes, bidding strategies, digital literacy and export readiness, promoting inclusive growth and enhancing women’s participation in public procurement.

In order to provide a broad perspective and deeper understanding of the challenges facing women-owned and women-led businesses, this Call for Papers invites scholars and organizations to submit high-quality research papers on women’s socio-economic governance in Nigeria and West Africa.
