Advocate for police reform

Advocate for Police reform Project aims to create community awareness on the need to transform the values, culture, policies and practices of police organizations in Nigeria. It envisages police to perform their duties with respect for democratic values, human rights, and the rule of law while also informing citizens of their fundamental human rights and the need for a necessary arrest warrant to stand against police brutality, bribery, and unlawful arrest, injustice etc. Public security issues are among the biggest challenges to Nigeria’s consolidating democracy, and the Nigerian Police Force is central to managing and responding to those challenges.
